ēKOCOMFORT® systems are most appropriate for new homes, taking advantage of the tight building envelopes used in new construction. But that doesn't mean they should be overlooked as a logical option for existing homes. If new windows are being installed and other energy efficient measures are being taken for an older home, ēKOCOMFORT® units can be the perfect companion heating and ventilation unit. Be sure to ask your contractor about the appropriateness of the ēKOCOMFORT® system for your particular home. For more on why the ēKOCOMFORT® system is a good idea, please consult the benefits and advantages. |
The ēKOCOMFORT® system is well suited to new construction Ideal for: New multi-unit buildings and smaller homes such as bungalows where space is an issue. But also applicable to retrofit applications: The cost of removing an existing system and replacing it with an ēKOCOMFORT® installation will depend upon whether ēKOCOMFORT® unit can utilize some or all of the home's older heat distribution network. In many cases, the cost of replacing an older system is worth it because of the increased comfort, efficiencies and long term electricity savings of a new ēKOCOMFORT® unit. Be sure to ask your renovation contractor to investigate the ēKOCOMFORT® system as an option if your current system is in need of replacement. |
